Manchester United's striker wishlist is led by Watkins and Sesko
If Manchester United decides to add more strikers during the current transfer window, Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa and Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig are
at the top of their list.In order to finance a new addition, United's management has acknowledged that they must begin offloading some of their undesired players, which may not happen until closer to the deadline of September 1.
It would be difficult to lure either player to Old Trafford.
Slovenian Sesko is reportedly a target for Newcastle, who have lost out on several important players this summer and are also uncertain about their own star attacker Alexander Isak.
Last season, the 22-year-old made 33 appearances in the Bundesliga and scored 13 goals.
Watkins, an England international, is not someone Villa is interested in selling.
Although they think a speculated price tag of £60 million would be much too high for 29-year-old Watkins, whose contract at Villa Park extends until 2028, United feels that their position may change closer to the deadline.
