Eleven years in the process, the Seattle Seahawks have finally triumphed against the New England Patriots in

Super Bowl LX, winning 29–13!

The game was a repeat of a thrilling matchup that took place in 2015, which the Patriots won spectacularly.

This time, however, it was all Seahawks... with Drake Maye and company being dominated by the Seattle defense.

After bouncing around the NFL until joining the Seahawks this past offseason, Sam Darnold—a former third-overall pick—has an incredible redemption tale. He is now a quarterback who has won a Super Bowl.
For 202 yards, Darnold finished 19-38 with one touchdown and no interceptions.


Kenneth Walker also made a significant contribution, running 27 times for 135 yards on his way to winning MVP.

With the Pats defense mostly keeping the Offensive Player of the Year under wraps, Jaxon Smith-Njigba only caught four balls for 27 yards after being checked out for a potential concussion in the second half.

Maye had some difficulties against the Seattle defense, just like the rest of the playoffs. He turned the ball over three times, had two interceptions, and lost a fumble.

The Seahawks have now won the Super Bowl twice.
