Wike - If Trump supplies technology, I'll help him combat terrorism in Nigeria
Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory's minister, has stated that if US President Donald Trump offers
Nigerians technology to fight terrorism, he will have his backing.
In an appearance with Politics Today, a show on Channels Television that ONIKEWIDE watches, Wike made this claim on Monday.
His statement follows Trump's accusation of Christian genocide in Nigeria.
Remember how Trump recently labeled Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” because of the same accusation?
The US president added that if the Nigerian government "continues to allow the killing of Christians," he had directed the Defense Department to get ready for potential military action in Nigeria.
"It is not enough for me to capitalize that people are dying in Plateau, Benue, and other places," Wike retorted.I've stated that I will back Trump in his efforts to arm Nigeria with technology to combat terrorism. Additionally, I will back any nation that wishes to contribute ways to combat terrorism in Nigeria.
