VDM Slams Adeboye, Oyedepo, and Others for Their Silence on Christian Killings in Trump's Threat

Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, is a social media commentator who has offered his thoughts on

the responses to former US President Donald Trump's threat to deploy US troops in Nigeria.

In a widely shared post, Trump threatened to send American troops to Nigeria if the government, headed by President Bola Tinubu, did not stop the reported murders of Christians there.

VeryDarkMan responded to the news by reposting a widely shared video of a Nigerian pastor pleading for the United States to intervene in the persecution of Christians.

He asserted that the international community took notice of the pastor in the video because he was one of the few religious leaders with the guts to voice concerns about the nation's insecurity.

The activist continued by criticizing well-known religious leaders, including Pastor Paul Enenche, Tunde Bakare, Bishop David Oyedepo, and Pastor E.A. Adeboye, for not applying enough pressure on President Tinubu to address insecurity before outside forces stepped in.
VeryDarkMan also criticized the mindset of some religious leaders, claiming that they would rather ask for prayers than take significant steps to promote change.

"Because their brother is president, Tunde Bakare, Bishop Oyedepo, and Pastor Adeboye all have a lot of power to compel President Tinubu to address the killings in Nigeria, but they all remain silent. However, Pastor Adeboye objected while Goodluck Jonathan was in charge, VeryDarkMan stated in the video.
