Oloro reportedly sends Carter Efe packing from his home

After supposedly being evicted from his colleague Oloro's home, well-known Nigerian artist and

skit creator Carter Efe has moved to social media to express his sorrow.

Carter accused fellow comedians Salo and Sparkoo of plotting against him and inciting Oloro against him in a widely shared tweet. He expressed surprise that he was evicted without warning, even though he had helped to improve the house by investing his own money on renovations.

Carter said it was distressing to be treated that way by people he had thought of as close friends, calling the episode a heartbreaking betrayal.

"I've finally been chased out of Oloro's house." Salo and Sparkoo spoke poorly of me to him behind my back. He bemoaned, "After everything I did, including remodeling that house."

Social media users had differing opinions about his message. Some expressed sympathy for him, but others chastised him for making such a large investment in someone else's property.
One person commented: "Imagine investing money to renovate a house that isn't yours; friendship in Lagos is only a short-term arrangement."

Others emphasized that having one's own space and not depending on friends for accommodations, regardless of how close they may appear to be, are the keys to true independence.

Discussions over financial restraint among Nigerian entertainers have also been rekindled by the occurrence. Critics questioned why Carter continued to rely on others for accommodation despite working in the field for a number of years.

Some contended that the incident ought to teach us to value stability over outward appearances. They also pointed out that Carter might be having trouble managing his money in the long run, even though he has hit songs like "Machala" and "Oyimo."
