During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bishop David Abioye of the Conquerors Global Assembly disclosed that his wife had an
HIV diagnosis. Speaking at a Sunday live service about healing, Abioye said he rejected the diagnosis right away and asked to be examined.

"During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV, and I said no," the man of God stated. Not in this body.
"I received scripture insights that "the prince of this world came to check me and they have discovered nothing," so by the time they searched her... I told him to go complete the examination.
"They examined her and found nothing. Healing is not for gentlemen; you fight illness to go rather than nursing it.
