Asari Dokubo: An unruly military officer need to be court-martialed

Asari Dokubo, a former insurgent leader in the Niger Delta, denounced on Wednesday the altercation between Federal Capital
Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike and a few military officers over a disputed piece of land in Abuja.
The minister and representatives of the FCT Administration were unable to reach the contested land property because of a violent disagreement between Wike and a senior Naval officer who claimed to be acting on orders of the previous Chief of Naval Staff, Awal Gambo.
Wike and the military officers got into a furious fight about the matter.
In response, Asari stated that the relevant authorities ought to chastise the responsible officer and summon them to court.
"I'm not taking sides with Wike, I'm taking side with what is the law, the rule, and the convention," Asari stated in a Facebook video. In any rational society, the person responsible for yesterday's events would be chastised and imprisoned.The conflict between the FCT Minister and the military guy is unwarranted. As the governor of the Federal Capital Territory, the Minister serves as the city of Abuja's chief security officer in accordance with the constitution.
