Ayra Starr became the first African to obtain Latin Diamond certification

 Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has become the first African artist to receive a Latin Diamond

rating.

Her worldwide duet with Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro, 'Santa', was certified Latin Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after exceeding 35 million streams.

'Santa' has also been certified multiple platinum in Spain and Mexico. It topped the Spanish chart and reached No. 2 in Colombia, Ecuador, and Central America.
